A lot of conclusions in forensic science are dependent on human interpretation and can be impacted by skill level, past professional experience, and predetermined context. Tobii Pro Insight is helping UCL’s Department of Security and Crime Science Center for the Forensic Sciences use eye tracking to examine the visual assessment processes of forensic anthropologists. It's hoped this information can be used to standardize inspection methods and improve the accuracy of conclusions.
